I want to apply for a study permit, and I am 41. My only son is studying in Canada for 10 months. I have a mother who has 4 diseases, and I have to take care of her after I come back to my country (if I am granted for a visa).
1. Should I include my mother's doctor reports ? (Because in the intent paper, I will mention that I have a mother that I have to take care after the ESL, so it might be a kind of demonstration of coming back to my country after the education)
Sure you can include her doctor's report but be selective, just make sure that visa officer will not be annoyed with voluminous doctor's report. You know what I'm saying. Do not forget to include proof of ties as listed in your country-specific visa instructions.
2. I want to study 26 week-ESL program. And I requested and got a paid permit from my boss. But this permit is for 10 months, and I will study for 6 months. What if I submit this 10-month permit paper? I mean is it a problem that to show a permit paper more than required? I don't think it will be a problem if you can provide a reason of what you will be doing with the 4 extra months, just in case CIC will ask that question. Will you be staying here in Canada with your son because he will be studying for 10 months? In that case, explain to CIC what you intend to do.
Question for you: Do you think you really need ESL? Your English, to me, is more than adequate, in fact it's very good. CIC might ask you why you need ESL and you have to be ready to justify your need for ESL. Good luck.
