Hi...

I'm in need of help.  I'm currently working in Ontario as a foreign worker.  I submitted my PR application in April 2008, I received only AOR.  My question is although I'm working here, my application is still being put on hold as other applications who submitted on/or after Feb 2008?  In this case, if my occupation is not on the 38 list, they will refuse my PR?

I don't know what to do now.  My work visa will be expire in November and I might not be able to renew it.  Can I apply for visitor visa and wait for a while to hear my PR?

Any suggestions are very much appreciated.  Thank you.

Have you checked if you can apply through the Ontario PNP at http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/English/pnp.asp ?  If you can not extend your work visa with your employer, can you look for another job and extend with them?
