Dear All,

I am a Canadian Permanent Resident having an entity in the US (Limited Liability Corporation) and also formed a company in Canada (Both Federal and Provincially registered).

Currently, I am on a work visa (H1-B) - I partnered with my friend to form an LLC in the USA a year back. We are doing good in terms of business, and I am planning to move to Canada in a few months so that I can focus full time on this venture, however I would like to understand what US and Canadian laws would back me once I move out of the US to Canada ?

I am already finding my partner (who is a US Citizen) manipulating things, especially when things are picking up for us and our company is already slowly being recognized and getting popular with good number of customers.

I really don't want to start from the scratch at the moment, however I would like to understand if I have any legal rights to fight on any cheating that could happen to me (as our business expands exponentially) once I move to Canada.

I would greatly appreciate if someone of you could kindly provide some insights of how this business could carry on with equal rights on the company for both me and my partner?
