If one have Canadian PR, do one need a transit Visa to UK, if one is just gonna be there for few hours ?

absolutely not you dont need to transit visa A-TRANSIT OR B-TRANSIT visa for uk.  if u have visitor or worker visa for canada or usa and fly from usa or canada you dont need any visa. i travelled several time without problems.
