Hi, Cheesy

I want to know that after getting Canadian Permanent Residency can an applicant and his dependant can work full time, study as domestic student of USA or visit USA as a tourist easily?? What are the rules for Canadian PR visa holders?? How easy or tough to go USA?? Roll Eyes

Canada and the US are two separate countries with their own immigration and residency rules. So no - Canadian permanent residents cannot study as domestic students in the US and cannot work there as domestic US residents.

Even if you are a Canadian PR, you may still need a visa to visit the US as a tourist. This is determined based on the passport you hold. If you are from a non-visa exempt country, then you will need a visa to visit the US.
