Would it be easier, cheaper to file for kids citizenship seperate from sponsoring my husband? How hard is the paper work? is it better to to hire lawyers? We're living in the USA and I want to move home to BC.

If your children have Canadian citizenship then you can't sponsor them with your husband since they cannot be permanent residents (they're already citizens!). I believe you would instead file for a proof of citizenship certificate for them, and then you could file for their Canadian passports.

Juste a note to add: Children born to Canadian parents ouside of Canada are Canadian by birth if it was before April 17, 2009 when the new rules took effect. "If your children are born outside Canada on or after April 17, 2009, they will be Canadian only if their other parent was born in Canada or became a Canadian citizen by immigrating there as a permanent resident and subsequently being granted citizenship (also called naturalization)." http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/faq/citizenship/index.asp

I filed for my kids' proof of Canadian citizenships last year and got it about 5 or 6 months later.  It was quite simple to do.  You can find the form in the Canadian immigration guide.  It is under proof of Canadian citizenship.  It was pretty cheap...I think about $40 per child from what I remember.  I have another baby due in about 2 wks and I plan to file for his citizenship soon after.  My older two, they were already 3 and 5 years old when I filed for them.  They are already citizens, they just need the proof to show.

Thank you for the info! I'll start paper work for the kids.
