According to numbers obtained from the Citizenship and Immigration Department through the Access to Information Act. the federal government hopes to reduce overall immigration next year by five per cent, mainly by cutting back on family reunification visas.

Actually thats Why I love PNP,being a Provincial Jurisdiction it will not be affected except to a very minor extent Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I find it interesting that they say that numbers will drop over 2010, which is logical, but they fail to state that the number went over the 2010 plan by about 7%

According to Alice Wong the Richmond MP who is the Parliamentary Secretary to Jason Kenney,They will cap International Parents and Grandparents to 11,000 in 2011
