Its true, I have shown $44,000 for two  as PoF yet CIC is telling me that its not enough and they now want to see my relative's financial and salary statements.   it  means,CIC is hungry for more $$$$$$ from the applicants. They should ask the applicants to issue an affidavit that once in Canada as a PR, applicants would not be a burden to Canada and would not ask for social help. End of Story with no hassle.  This way Canada would not feel the pressure of getting burdened by the newcomers.

FSW will also cut back from 70,000 to 56,000

so that will lead to more rejection this year.......

i think its not that more rejections but issuance of less visas, why would they reject anybody with all legitimate documents / skills

they can control immigration by issuance of less visas like they have already introduced the quota / cap but they can't refuse......

Today I caught myself smiling for no reason... then I realized I was thinking about you :-)
If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's yours If it does not come back, it was never meant to be :-)

Well, this is a proof of what I mentioned in an earlier post. People, the truth is very few  Immigrants get jobs after Landing. Only the very lucky ones, ones with good command of English, experience, very good education, International experience and so on get in. And I mean, really very few, so what do all others do? Ask yourself?.
Anyway, all things being equal, it is/may worth a try, if you are really desperate to move out of your country, have the time and you are young.
When a country starts to look at reducing the influx of immigrants then you should understand that their is definitely something wrong on the ground and the citizens are no longer happy, and believe me this leads to more discrimination, jobless immigrants etc etc.  A typical example would be a country like Germany, where in the 70,s, 80,s and early 90,s, where, even the "Burger Meister" i.e the Mayor, used to go and receive immigrants and asylum seekers from Railway stations, they were given Hotel rooms to stay, money to get them going.............. etc etc.  And Now?

Semantics - If a person applies for a visa and receives it, that is an acceptance - if they do not get the visa, for whatever reason, they are rejected.
It really makes no difference to the applicant why they did not get the visa, in the end, they cannot enter Canada, so they were rejected.
