Canadian Experience Class Teachers Assistant work experience?

Hi, I'm a British student currently studying at an American University but I plan on transferring to a Canadian one for the last three years. I'm hoping to get a post graduate work visa and qualify for PR under the Canadian Experience Class but I'm worried that I won't be able to get any of the required jobs with a Bachelor of Arts degree (ie. English, Psychology, Economics)? If I'm able to land a job as a Teachers Assistant would that qualify as valid work experience? It's the only thing I feel like I can get for sure and I think it's a category A job. Does anybody have any other suggestions? Maybe I could qualify for lower level managerial positions if I get experience during the summers?
