Canadian citizenship if working for Canadian company abroad

Hey all,
I am a little confused about one particular law. Basically I am a PR who wants to work for a Canadian company in the United States. Will the years that I spend in the US working for the Canadian company count towards my citizenship?
I tried searching for concrete proof for this law however couldn't find it myself.
Thanks!

no, time spent outside Canada working for Canadian company does not count towards citizenship requirement.
You need 3 years of physical residence in Canada to be eligible for citizenship.
Working outside Canada for Canadian company can be counted towards maintaining your PR status.

To work for a canadian company abroad, does it mean i have to paid out of canada? My canadian company wants me to work at its office in USA. Can I maintain my PR if I am employed by the US office of a canadian company?

If you are hired in Canada by a Canadian employer and transferred to their branch in another country, your days will count towards your PR but not towards citizenship.
