Canada Visitor Visa- Return ticket

Hi Everyone,
I am currently in Toronto, Canada on Visitor visa which is expiring on December 31st 2011.
My husband is also in Canada on Work permit which is also expiring on December 31st 2011.
We both are going to our home country for 1 month from October 1st to October 30th.and will be back on 31st October 2011.
We book the airline return tickets as Toronto to India and back India to Toronto
While return back to Canada My husband will get letter from his employer that we were on vacation for 1 month and he need to be in Canada till last day of his work permit expiry date.
Once we back our both's visa will be valid for 2 months only.
Would you please everyone let me know as I am on visitor visa and coming back with my husband do I need return ticket? Because already we booked the round trip as Canada-India-Canada
However both we haven't booked any return ticket form Canada-India which we need to go back again on our visa expiry date i.e. December 31st 2011 is this ok?

when you return from india i hope u have valid visa with M- entries than no problem in case if immigration asked why you r return for 2 months try to find some good reason

Tell them you'll book your return flight within 3 weeks.
