Hey everyone.. Landed in Newfoundland yesterday early morning around 0200 hrs. The flight gets a bit tiring if youre going through 3,4 connecting flight route.. The people at the airport at Monteeal where I had my immigration and custom clearance are very polite including the customs guys and the CBSA agents. Moreover, the weather no doubt is the main change one feels here and overall people are very polite and patient. There is absolutely no such thing as racial discrimination. People dont even bother for that ..

Just thought of dropping in at the forum.. Will get in touch again once I settle down ..

Yara you gotta tune yourself to the weather here. The rest is all very good. The people here are very polite, wellbmannered and friendly. You will feel this when you come here. They dont care what race or background you come from. No such issues in this regard. The university setup is also very good. I really liked it. Moreover, fhe place is just scenic to the extreme. Once it snows, the whole place looks mesmeeizinf. Specially the mountains. So far im really liking it apart from the fact that you sssso dont want to walk your way to the university. And yes, if youre into clubbing and all, you wont be disappointed at all

I'm paying 450 CAD for my room. Kitchen, living, dining are shared. The rent includes all utilities.
