[/glow]Hi  Embarrassed,

I was wondering if anybody could help me, i have applied for canada pr from india, after 9 month my previous owner's office recieved a call from embassey regarding my experience and background, BUT THE employee WHO PICKED THE CALL said some thing else " MISUNDERSTOOD". I recieved a letter from embassey regarding the matter and asked to send the clearification regarding misunderstanding created and i have send the return letter saying my side. Now it is like more then 3 months i haven't recieve any thing from there side NIETHER my PREVIOUS- Owner. Mean while on website it's say's my application is "IN PROCESS". So now i donn't now what to do? and how long to wait?
CAN ANY ONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT..... OR HAVE ANY SUGGESTION.....

Wait, that is all you can do.  You can probably expect an interview at best and a refusal at worst.  You claimed job duties, CHC phoned the employer and the employer stated different job duties.  So who is CHC going to believe?  You or the employer?

Thanks for replying me.
But they didn't contact the employer so far or visited.

i mean after 9 month, my employeer office recieved a call from them regarding my background, there created a misunderstanding that is same first name employee is working as a service eng and i was working as a finance manager there for 5 year, so the person how recieved the call thought they are asking of the person same first name who is working right now as service eng and they asked how The person who recieved the call is accountant for company were i used to work, worked for 7 yrs. but while my tenure he used to work in other sister concern company.

Cool down.... I understand it feels difficult... But instead of being panic, do the positive steps,
You know the reason, they need information regarding your past experience, but still

1. if possible apply for caips if interview date in after 5-6 week later because caips notes takes that much time.
if you are not aware of caips, then look into the first few post, or google word caips.

2. there are post about interview preparation, please search in this forum.

The interview is now your chance to prove that you really are a finance manager and not service engineer. Just make sure you have all your qualifications, plus an invitation to visit you at your work place would be a great incentive to CIC, especially if they are able to see you actually working in your daily office etc.

CIC need you to prove that you have the qualifications to immigrate to Canada, that is all.
