Hello everyone,

After two months of landing in Canada, I am convinced that this is all about Networking (70%) and Building a Good Resume (30%).

I am NOT saying that knowledge is not important, but knowledge has to take someone to the networking phase. Otherwise, one will not get  great opportunities in Canada.

Yesterday, I went to Job Fair held at the Roger Centre and got a feeling of how interviews work in Canada. Most people are not focus on how to sell themselves but worry ONLY about getting a job which is understandable.

Lots of entry level jobs that for someone who just got here is fantastic.

An advice for those who doesn't speak  fluent English, take English courses ASAP and get to know the system... Here in Canada time cannot be wasted as your life will be wasted.

Greetings

Hi SFD,

Those were very good advices. +1 for you! I have couple of questions though...
> What do you think is the most effective way to quickly establish network especially in the Ontario area?
> How does a good resume should look like? While i've read some articles and tips about the canadian resume, I still haven't seen a real one. Can u share us some samples of a canadian resume..

Thank you very much!
