hi

 does anyone know thta if the person is out of status in the usa(lady) and she is in her 40'. she been here since 12 years .is there anyway to get canada PR . she is from india. let me know ..

She can apply as skilled worker if she meets the requirements, or she can be sponsored if she has close family in Canada (that are PR or citizen).  Read more on www.cic.gc.ca.  Her status in USA does not matter.  If she was legally admitted to US for 12 months she can apply via Buffalo, if not she will have to apply from New Delhi.

I agree with GK. An out-of-status individual in US does not have any problem immigrating in Canada as long as s/he has 1 year of continuous legal stay and does not have any criminal record.
