Canada FSW application from London VO

Hi ,
Any one here who applied for FSW Canada from London VI.
I applied in nov 2009 - send initial application
And in May 2010 send complete docs to VO London within 120 days request period . Still waiting for my Medicals.

Do any one know what happen if while waiting for Medicals we applied for Ca student visa. Its over 10 month London VO received my application but still not sure when will receive Medicals . Just got UK PSW visa till Dec 2011 and not interested in extending stay in UK , so planning to go Ca by student visa in Sep-Oct .   Is it good idea to be there and wait for medical instead of spending money here for UK extension ? One of my friend had applied for Ca student visa 3 weeks ago but Ca VO London take 6-8 weeks for that too . Please advice what you all sujjest. Btw I m Indian by citizenship. Living in UK

"Dear Sir/Madam,
 
This is in response to your enquiry.
 
Your documents have been received and placed on file. No further action is required by you at this time.
 
Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.  
 
During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.    
 
This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.  Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.
Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

This Tuesday (7th Feb) my Ecas has updated ,

We received your application for permanent residence on November XX, 2009.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February XX, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the London England office on February XX, 2010. The London England office may contact you.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January 31, 2012.

Further Yesterday I have received one Letter   from Canadaian VO London ;
to my surprice it got one letter asking me for*** MEDICALS *** and Updated documents :
* New application for Perm Residance IM0008 from Principal applicant
* New Shedule back ground
* New additional family info
* Medicals
*Updated Police Certificate (for UK only) and
* IMM5562E

though i didnt ask to pay Right of perm residance fee.

Though i not very clear what does they mean by " NEW Application for Permenant Residance IMM008" but i assume they need updated info in new forms.
Aslo not very sure why they didnt ask for RPR fee with medicals.

I called Dr and look like its easy to get appoinment for next week.

Please who got PPR please share your timeline and experience after Medical received.

Friend I live in Northampton.
Was very excited when open letter.
Though bit confused that why they didnt ask RRF from me at this stage,
Called all Dr for appoinment and found Dr in Northampton is cheapest.

You should keep eye on you mails . Medicals / updated docs request will be on its way .

I got a bit excited from seeing this and have a number of queries if you dont mind me asking

1. from asking you updated forms and police certs, did they ask you for updated proof of funds?
2. did you get any notification by email that a letter is forthcoming?
3. did your ecas get updated?

No they didn't ask for fund update .
Also I didn't receive any email from them regarding this letter .
May be they will update ECAS any time in future .

Bookking medicals for Feb last week , apply for PCC and hopefully Canadian will come true soon .
