The year 2011 could NOT have started better than this, and the good news especially caters to those planning to work in Canada. The month of December last year saw the generation of plenty of job opportunities, with main growth witnessed in the private sector.

Reports clearly state that an addition of 22,000 was witnessed in December 2010, in the wake of tremendous gains seen in November; the same has been confirmed by Statistics Canada. The figures didn't fulfill the expectations predicted by economists at HSBC Canada, which speculated the creation of 30,000 jobs in the country.

Talking about full-time jobs, the figures hiked for the fourth time, as far as the record from last five months are concerned. However, the hike could NOT match up with the pace with which part-time jobs have shown a hike for the duration of last twelve months. A hike of 3.4% has been witnessed versus 1.9%.

Surely positive news for prospective immigrants who are thinking of making Canada as one of the brightest nations to start their earnings! The industry of skilled workers and labor market is not left behind too. The Canadian labor market surely is running on its recovery track smoothly while generating more and more job options for the prospective workers.

StatsCan has further established that a noteworthy amount of improvement has been witnessed in various sectors like transportation, manufacturing, warehousing and natural resource sectors. Manufacturing sectors alone witnessed the generation of sixty six thousand new jobs, a facet which in itself is motivational news for workers intending to work in this sector.
