Hello all,

If you are coming close to the end of the 120 days deadline, can you use same day courier delivery service to send in your docs to the visa office, though the instruction says mail your application?

Yes you can use courier. that is also a kid of mail. It is preferable to send by reliable courier service as you can track your documents when they are delivered.

Thanks for your contribution. Let me ask, if your package gets there by 9am on the 120th day will it be accepted? Because it was stated that you need to send it within the 120 days limit. Does the 120 days limit include the very last day? The reason is because one of my documents will arrive on the evening of 119th day, then send the entire thing by overnight courier to reach there by 9am on the 120th day. Do you think this will be acceptable? I will appreciate your answers. Thanks.

Hi
In this present situation, you have no choice than to send the docs and wait for responses. But note that all CHC are very stick with the date deadline.
Good luck

I do believe receiving on the 120th day is okay. Within implies that it cannot go outside 120 days, not that it must be received before 120 days. That is my understanding. Anyway, when you receive everything on the 119th day, you have nothing to lose except the cost of courier, so why not send it anyway on the 119th day no matter what.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon
