I have applied for PR in Germany and my current status is 'in process'. I am going to Canada for six months as a visitor. Can I send my passports by mail to German embassy for permanent visa or will I have to go back to Germany for getting visa ?

Better to stay there until you get your PR. Nevertheless, family member can help you do the job.

Hi,

It is depend on your country instruction, most of the country don't allow there citizen to send their passport by mail to any other country. Now days specially many courier companies also not receiving the passport, even if you may send  to the German embassy but after stamping the visa passport will not be mailed out of country. Better to send Personally, any family member or authorized person can do the job if you are not able to go by yourself.
