i have a question
i heard from a friend that when you receive the landing
you get to get one car " tax free " into Canada ?
is that right ?

Only if it is owned and used before "landing" and then you include it on your goods to follow list. See www.riv.ca for importing a car and http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/basic_trade/export_docs/motor_vehicle.xml for exporting the car from the US.
