If i am already in Canada on Temp work permit and applying for PNP within Canada, do i have to return to the US to do the background check or can it be done from CAnada?

You can get the FBI clearance through the mail.

FSW=federal skilled worker - QSW=Quebec skilled worker
AEO=arranged employment offer - LMO=labour market opinion
CEC=Canadian experience class - PNP=provincial nominee program

You have to go somewhere to get your fingerprints taken and mail them in.
