I am a canadian citizen and am getting married to a colombian woman.  Can she come back to canada with me as a temporary resident while the sponsorship process is being completed?

If she gets a visit visa, yes.  If she can't get a visa, then she will have to wait.

Processing times you can expect: first in Mississauga 56 days, see http://www.indiacanada.ca/ and then in Bogota average of 13 months, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp#west
