can spouse fulfill the time requirement toward PR under fedral skilled category

Hi,

Someone please point toward right direction on following.

case filled: immigration to canada under federal skilled worker and granted yes and asked to complete the time term.

Main applicant is struck in USA for work assignment. Can his wife can do the time instead of principal applicant

Wife has studied and worked in Canada.Her paper work was completed at time of application along with principal applicant.

Any help on issue is greatly appreciated.

No.  It is the principal applicant who has to comply.
