Can someone advice what to do?

Hello All--

I haven't been visiting this forum since long time. I'm sponsored by my wife and a quick snapshot on our folder.

We got the CPC-M approval in November 2010 and my passport was requested by CIC ND in December 2010 and I got my CSQ approval in February 2011. As per eCas they started working on our folder on 13 Jan 2011.
So far no reply and no updates on our folder and we have already crossed 6 months time line and I never saw any updates on eCas after this date of January.

- I want to know if anyone here has got CSQ approval --- do they see this record on eCas regarding CSQ approval date coz for us we don't see it?

- My medicals would be expired this month (august 2011) as per 1yr validity period on them. What can I expect from CIC ND on this?

- Can anyone share some insights on what could be the reason for delay? Should be of great help to us.

- I can't answer your first question as I don't live in Quebec, thus its not on my e-case. May be someone else can answer this question for you.

- You would have to Re-do your medical as your Visa would be valid till the date of the medical expiry and most likely in this case, they will make you go through a Re-medical

- It is possible that they misplaced your documents from your file.

I would suggest you to keep emailing them once every 2-3 days till you get a reply from them. Also get your MP involved in this as your processing time is over 6 months which is the timeline for ND.

We now thinking to go for CAIPS notes and figure out what's delaying the decision.

Few questions:

- Can my wife request for CAIPS notes as she is citizen and also presently living in Canada?

- Which of these 2 forms which should fill up?

Is there any form I need to sign and send across to my wife to complete the package to apply for CAIPS or she can just apply by filling my details as she is sponsor has the right to know the details on folder?

I forgot to mention I never saw my Medicals Received status updated on ecas ever. What do you think this means? Coz I just read on a thread they see the Medicals Received thing updated on ecas for them and for us it was never updated. Though it was sent with the folder from beginning.

What could this mean?

I have yet to see anything on mine either. I also did my visa Inland, so our ways of processing are a little different. I think for you seeing the medical results take part in 2nd stage processing. You wont see much until you're almost done.
