*Updated police clearance certificates issue by the relevant authority of the district to which you belong for you and, if applicable any dependent above the age of 18 years if not already provided. Police clearance certificate must have been issued within the last 12 months to be considered valid and should be provided for each jurisdiction in which a person has lived for six months or more in the last ten years.

my husband has an interview on 12 jan 2012, so do they reqiure PCC what does that mean because my hubby submitted in last june so since june to nov its expired its valid only for six months.

Yes rabiriz. The visa office asked for an "Updated police certificate". It means the PCC what he submitted is no more sufficient by any means. There is no other way except submitting a new PCC at the earliest.
