You can borrow money from others BUT you have to send at least 6 months bank statement where you have show the transaction... They will not only see the balance, they will check the transaction also. and end of the process when you will go to Canada as a PR you have to take the whole money with you over there. They will check that in airport . So its depend on you how you will manage the whole thing.

Thanks beat.

But there is no instruction in the instruction guide which state the period of transaction. what would you say about the instruction guide.

Actually i wanted to ask that if i take that fund for only 2 or 3 days and get the bank statement, it would be ok or not?

Please reply

u can do that, but i have heard that the CHC does even check with bank at later stages about the funds..and they may reject a file if they find some kind of cheating going on... if u can arrange funds to be kept in bank for the period until you get your med request, its better..Good luck!

Thank for all who respond to this topic.

Actually i discussed this matter with many consultants and they suggested that we can do that.

What would you say about that.

Hi

If you borrow money for some days just to show statement then make sure you show only current balance statement which shows only balance not the transaction, if you show the transaction it will clearly show that you have deposit the large some of money means you borrowed the funds. Show the current balance statement for now but make sure you have these funds in your account because at the medicals times visa officer can ask you for the 6 months statement and if you dont keep minimum funds in your account then you will be in trouble.

CIC guidelines are to show the funds they dont ask for the transactions but if visa officer ask you for the 6 months statement at medicals time then you will have to show it.

Cheers

Thanks saki for your response.

Actually i have half of required funds which are of me. and i am going to borrow half amount from someone. My half required funds would be in my bank acount whereas borrowed money would be return back.

I mean to say that my half funds would be deposited for whole year untill my case finalized.

What would you say about this situation.

Please comments anybody else about that statement.

Look for the time being its fine but later try to have these funds in your account well before your medical request because if you live it for the last minute you will then have to provide a evidence that its your money and not borrowed for e.g documents showing that you have sold your asset and got the remaining funds.Visa officer will not accept borrowed funds and if they are not satisfied that its your money they will reject your application.

Medical is MUST only interview can be waived if there is no interview you will receive medical request.
If visa officer has any doubt about your funds he/she will ask for 6 months statement and there is a good chance they will ask for it.

think on this line.... why they have a prescribed amount for applicants. you may need this money for initial survival. you don't want to put yourslef in trouble after landing over there, right ? particularly, in this economy.

i don't want to give a temporal advise and some how support your view or cause right now, only to find yourself in touble at a later time.

think the other side as well. you will spend so much as application fee. at certain stage, these fees are non-refundable as well.

so take care.

It is refreshing to hear the voice of reason.

We all know some people do this, but it is fraudulent and when people are caught doing it, there is punishment.

Why do people think these funds are required,... because you need them to survive in Canada.

Dear Mr.Irfan
It's one of the main requirement of CIC to have sufficient funds in your account which solely belongs to you .You are not supposed to deceive the Immigration Authorities by borrowing funds for short period of time until you get visa and then return back.
Are you allowed to borrow a Degree or IELTS result to present in front of Immigration Officer, that's not belongs to you ?..NO WAY,,,,, Same thing with funds. If you don't have funds don't apply now .Work hard ,do overtime ,make money legally  up to  required amount and then apply
Do you believe on honesty?
It is impossible to achieve long-term change without being honest to yourself. A lie may solve a present problem, but it has no future. Here is an example
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/possible-consequences-for-obtaining-citizenship-on-false-documents-t61298.0.html

Honesty may be a simple policy but it is not easy! There are positive and negative effects to being honest. It is often the negative effects of being honest that prevent us from stepping out in this noble quest. Here are some of the negative effects of being honest; rejection, isolation, hostility,  animosity and hurt feelings but the benefits are  worth full as  Honesty develops peace of mind , is the first step to the right way of living, develops trust and is the only way to recover.

I request the forum members not to encourage this kind of situation which is totally illegal. Dont track them to the  imitation ways.
Thank You
