I think travel history matters..I was a student in canada for almost 2 yrs as well..they requested for my pp in Aug. and they still have it...But i guess now they ask for pp when the applications are at final review so u dnt worry...it shuld be done by march max.
Gud luck..

Yea it does take time if the applicant has travelled outside India and has stayed there(country) for 6months. Anyways as you have applied on November 2010, as sim85 said you are more likely to get the good news anytime soon by end of feb or march the latest, as the whole process takes 6mths as per cic site.

Smiley Btw jus a suggestion....incase if it be of any help 2 u, why dont you join the  "Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010", it will give an idea abt or by when can you get visa,Plus i have seen alot of ppl there who have same timeline like urs  Wink and you can ask them related to this, if you have more questions or concern and get their feedback as well. Anyways i wish you goodluck n inshallah u will get d visa soon  Wink!!
