I have applied under Federal Skilled Worker category and my processing started in Jan – 2005 at New Delhi CIC. In 2006 I came to Canada as a international student and completed two years post secondary education, now I have one year post graduation work permit.

My Questions:

1.   Will my status (post graduate work permit) help in speeding up my immigration file at New Delhi?
2.   It has crossed the normal processing time; can I update my file without disturbing or delaying processing?

I think it will not effect your processing time but definitely support you having an edge of education in a canadian institution. Good Luck

Ask your present employer to give you a job offer. Then send that job offer letter to CIC mentioning your file number. Job offer letters enhances the process. Good luck.
