Can my husband apply for my parents?

So I am still waiting for my permanent residency interview but was wondering if my husband can invite my parents to come and visit us since I cant leave the country. Anyone had this experience. Will appreciate your input very much.

I don't have personal experience, but I heard even a friend can invite someone as visitor of Canada.  Both parties shall provide proof of financial status and your parents shall also provide proof that they will leave Canada in the end of the desired vacation.
