I have a question if anyone knows or can help me out, I have a friend she is now 65 yrs old she has been living in Canada since she was 4, she came across from Italy with her mother, her mother recieved citizenship but she never did, is she illegally here and can they deport her back to Italy, what can she do now?

1.  She may have received citizenship when her mother did, minors were usually included.
2.  If not, she is a permanent resident.  Somewhere she should have an IMM 1000 from one she first entered.
3.  She can get a copy of it via the following : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/search-how.asp  to see if she is a citizen.
4.  Permanent resident  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/certcopy.asp
