Hi everyone, need help to decide between the categories FSW Employment arranged or Ontario PNP or Working Visa. Living in Australia on a student visa; have Nepalese passport.

My wife has completed couple of semesters of Bachelors degree and dropped out.
After that opened a cafe in Nepal and operated it for about 1.5 years but had to close it down due to sickness. Later we went to China because of my work and she learned Chinese language for a semester. After coming back she was pregnant so didn't do anywork.

Ater the baby was born we came to Australia on a student visa and she studied commercial cookery (certiicate) for a year. She has completed diploma in business ( 1 year) and is studying advanced diploma in business. We still have 1.5 years in our australian visa. She has been working in a cafe/restaurant for almost 2 years as a partime cook. She has always wanted to be in the cafe/restaurant/catering business. She has been offered a job at a restaurant somewhere around toronto.

I used to work as a education sales person (in Nepal) and foreign student coordinator (in China). Now I have been working as a partime retail assistant (since 2 years) at a store of Australia's biggest supermarket chain. I dropped out of university early on so no degrees or diplomas.

Her brother (and his family) are canadian citizens living in ontario for more than 10 years and her parents have been canadian residents for almost 2 years.

Please help. Thank you.

Ontario does not have a provincial family stream that would allow her brother to sponsor a sibling (her).

Here is Ontario's immigration website: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/index.htm

Specific information about applying under Ontario's PNP as a worker: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPWORKERS.html

Information about the FSW class: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

I don't have any personal experience with any of this, but hopefully others will chime in to help you further. In the meantime, give those links a look - lots of information there.

Sounds like she could apply under the skilled worker program as a cook.  Check how many points she gets: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp  She needs at least 67.  If she gets a certified job offer from this restaurant (AEO), she will get another 10 points and also it will lift your requirement to show funds for your move.
