Can I work in my husband business..or in family business

I have a question about related job.

I have just completed MA linguistics and applied for the post graduate work permit.

If I want to apply for CEC one year later, can I work in my husband business?
His business is related to my major and i can work as an academic counselor.

He enrolled his business as a kind of corporation.

Can I work in his business or should I find another job for CEC?

I am waiting for your kind comments and experiences.
