Hi,
   I am considering of applying for Canadian PR under federal skilled category. I have my recent TOEFL scores and wondering if I can use it instead of IELTS to demonstrate English proficiency in my PR application.

Thanks for the replies.
 I have seen that many American University websites give this "conversion" table. According to which the IELTS score and TOEFL of student can be interchangeably used for admission. Can those tables not be used while applying for Canadian PR?  I took TOEFL just two months back and was wondering if I could give its corresponding IELTS score depending on this table used by American universities.

They are SO specific, you cannot even use ACADEMIC IELTS in lieu of the General IELTS.  Not worth wasting all those months by trying to cut these corners.  Follow the yellow brick road and you will get here.......

Wish they'd accept TOEFL as listening part of TOEFL is of identical type thats used by native Canadians.
Its still a mystery why they accept CELPIP and IELTS only.
