Dear Friends,

I got the PPR from Buffalo. Currently I live in India, unfortunately I am not allowed to mail my passport out of the country. I am planning to make a short visit to Canada (I have a valid work visa) and send my passport + RPRF to Buffalo.

My question is: Can I use a friend's Canadian address for sending and receiving my passport? I will be staying with this friend until I get back my stamped passport. CIC has an Indian address on file.

Thanks,
Frontenacs

yes you can do that, you can include a letter mentioning the address to which you want it to be handed over, also provide your and your friend's phone number in the letter.

Anyways you have to keep the return envelope so you can mention the address there. You can use any address in the return envelope.
Are you getting RPRF from canadian bank ?
