Hi Friends,

I have applied for Spouse visa which is in processing at Buffalo center after being initially processed at Mississauga, ON.
I am on H1B visa in USA. My wife is in Canada.

I am planning to spend few weeks with my wife in Canada. So my question is that if passport request comes while I am in Canada can I post my passport from Canada to Buffalo center?

Any suggestions will be highly appreciable.

Thanks in advance.

you can send your passport from anywhere in the world, but they will only send it back to you, to your official address provided in the application.

P.S: make sure you send it with a traceable postal solution, registered, or USPS/FEDEX .. that's what I'd recommend. as it helps tracking it if it's late.a

when becoming a permanent resident, you will have to exit, & renter after taking your PR visa from Buffalo.

Good luck

Thanks wawaprince for reply.
But I have read in mailing instructions on Canadian buffalo site that we send the return envelope with passport. So if on return envelope I mention the Canada address(which will be different from my current address in USA) wouldn't they send it to Canada?

Thanks,
