Hello Seniors,

I have a quick question regarding my application. My PR application was filed thru a Consulting company and I've lately realised that I am being asked to pay $50.00 for courier charges every time the Consultant needs to send out documents to the Consulate or to me (for example - my medicals). I feel like I'm being ripped off completely but since I've already completed my medicals and am in the final stages, I don't wish to pick up a fight with the Consulting company. I just received my husband's FBI record which I would like to send to the consulate directly and am wondering if I can do so.

In the past 1 year, apart from the $1800 (consultancy fee), I have already spent a huge amount on just courier charges. I think it is only fair to assume that the courier charges would be included in the contract fee. Instead of sending the FBI record to my consulting company, can I just directly courier this doc to the Detroit consulate? I am guessing it should be okay if I included my file number, correct? Sorry for the long email, but I am really upset that I spent so much money on hiring a Consultant to submit my application when I could have easily done it all by myself....and saved all that money.

Thanks!!!

Anything u send will not be appreciated by the Visa office as long as u have ur consultant in place. Every thing needs to be routed thru him or her.
If in this last stages u r thinking of saving courier money its not wise. You could have acted on this note much earlier.
Now regarding FBI clearance if u wish to send on ur own to save $50 then u have a option to send the cancel the representative form along with ur mailing address and email address to get direct correspondence from Visa office.
Anyways no consultant can screw ur joy at this stage. Embarrassed
