CAN I SEND A DRAFT IN US DOLLARS?? HELP PLEAZZZ...

Hello Forum Mates,


I am praying hard that someone takes notice of my question and shed me some light....

My bank cannot give me a bank draft in Canadian Dollars except US Dollars which is the account I have with them.  They are telling me that banks cannot give drafts in a currency that I donot have existing account to speak of.  But I donot have a Canadian Account and It will be hard here in Philippines to open a Canadian Dollar Account.  Can I just send the draft in US Dollars???

why dont u just make a bank draft from another bank which issues bank draft in CAD. (for that u do NOT need to have another account in that bank.)

i think it's NOT a good idea to send the bank draft in USD. u might be rejected on the grounf of not sending the amount in CAD, n another thg is the transition equal account between USD and CAd various time to time.
