can I make the payment of application fee by using my friend's credit card?

If you dont have your own CC   ...   Make DD / BD to be safe.

Bank/Demand draft is much safer than a credit card payment. There are applicants whose CC payment was blocked because the CC company suspected the transaction as fraudulent. If it's one a million chance... but... still it is "one" chance that you will not like.

If you notify the credit card company in advance that the payment will be made, it is usually no problem.
