Hey,

I think i'm gonna go to Buffalo next week and get my Visa the same day then do my landing so it's all done and I can start applying for my Sin Card and health cards.  I am not ready to go to Canada to live yet, but figured while i'm there I can do the landing also.  I've heard that you can use the documentation that they give you to come back as a permanent resident until you get your PR Card.

Can anybody give me any insight into this?  I am a U.S. Citizen, not sure if that matters or not.  Because I will go over see my wife after the landing then I will have to come back to the U.S because I am not ready to move to Canada just yet.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks,
Nick

If your wife is in Canada, just give her address for the PR card and later for the SIN card when you apply for that.  Then they will be sent there.  You should be ok to enter again with your landing documents.  Just explain that you had to leave again before you could get your PR card.
