If you get a PR visa on approval of your FSW application, you can come to Canada and settle down. Once you have sufficient income for living with your family, you will be able to sponsor them under family class.

But you cannot make things conceal. In the forms, you must show detail and also reasons for not accompanying your family member(s).

Pardon me, I don't have much idea about family class. I heard from a friend, it takes around 24 months to complete by a PR and 12 months by a citizen.

For possible reasons, if she is really pregnant, you can show. Best to show her on going study, if applicable.

Even if you don't bring your family now (i.e. list them as non-accompanying) - you will still have to show POF for your entire family. So if you only have enough POF for yourself right now - then you don't have enough to apply.

In one word.
Yes.
You can apply just for yourself.

But it is advisable to apply for the whole family(I am assuming-just a spouse and no kids).
The difference of proof of funds is not even 3000 CAD.
