Hi

My PR card expires in April 2012 and I have not completed the minimum two years required for renewal as I live in another country ( for now) . I got stopped at the borders and Immigration filed an "document de mesure de renvoi" and consequently , I filed an appeal form through a lawyer. I have a canadian son who will soon be 18 and 3 adult sons who are Permanent residents.
If my appeal is refused, can I still re-apply for PR later ?

Thanks in advance

Having a Canadian son or PR sons has absolutely no bearing on your case.  If you do not stay the mandatory 2 years and they know about it, you stand to lose your PR.  If you lose your PR, you can apply again or if one of your sons is making enough money and is living in Canada, he can sponsor you but sponsoring a parent can take several years.
