Hi!!!
Hope you are well

I am currently on a 3year post graduation work permit and will apply for CEC PR one day. My question is - can I enroll towards a CMA or any other accounting designation? This is where I get confused when I read about the restrictions on my work permit - this is not a university per se, it's a designation - I would be working full time while taking some quizzes and exams online for a course or two a year (which I'm missing from my transcript).

I apologize in advance if this question has already been asked and answered on this forum, just couldn't find it... but would appreciate if you could share your thoughts.

thank you!

I completed my CMA program in Saskatchewan.
I went straight into the SLP program because i had just completed my accounting program at the U of S and I met all the requirement.
I did not have to do the AMAP program but i have friends who did.

This message is a reply to Sharuu PM.. For some reason I could not send you a PM. Not sure why. Maybe its cos I'm new to the forum.

Thanks for the reply. I am doing from the same province. I want to ask a few other things..

How many students are there in the SLP? I have been working for a while and am contemplating between SLP and MBA. How many students were there, were they all working and was it a good experience? How tough is CMA Sask. for practical experience requirements?

Thanks
