Or, can I apply for PNP ONLY after several months of working for the employer?

I thought that's when you work in Alberta and apply for Alberta PNP.
I'm in BC.  Is BC PNP the same?   The BC PNP website doesn't say that you need to work at least 6 months before applying for BC PNP.

Please correct me if what I know is incorrect.
