Can food service atttendant apply for PR w/o sponsor?

Hi my husband is a TWP in Alberta, Canada. His present employer do not sponsor but his working for 2 yrs now. (but in 2 diff companies) Can he apply alone for a PR even with out sponsorship or without any lawyer. Where should he start?

hi, i also have a question regarding above stated occupation.yes i know this occupation is not skilled but in alberta this occupation is comes under semi-skilled worker category.

The link you posted, if you read about the program there, you see that a lot is also required from the employer, more than just handing him a job offer.  He can phone the AINP and ask about it if he wants to but without the employers co-operation, it will not work.

What if he apply in the  same company but different province like saskatchewan, we heard that after 6mons TFW (even food service attndant)can apply for a PR?Is it true?

As far as I know, SINP doesn't have a low or semi-skill program except for truck drivers but I may be wrong.  However, he would have to be working in SK to apply under SINP.  You can phone SINP and discuss your options with them but for sure they tell you he would have to be working in SK.  It is also a requirement of any employer driven stream that the employer is a part of the application.  Even if SK has a semi-skill program and if he gets a job offer there, new LMO, goes to work there, works for 6 months, it would still not work if the employer refuses to co-operate.
