I downloaded all the form I needed to fill up to sponsor my wife

Problem is...you can't save the info you type in...you can only print it out
what if you want to get it reviewed or if you don't have a printer? I don't see myself filling up the form at the internet shop -_-

If you don't have a printer, you go to a friend or a print shop and print out the forms there.  Then you go home again and fill them out.  Then you go to a copy shop and get all your documents copied before you mail them to immigration.  That way, if anything is lost, you have a copy and you know what you sent.

I think they do it because most people use adobe products for pdf files and this was the only way they could make it fillable.  If you have adobe acrobat, or can find some other program that's not incredibly overpriced, then you can save them.

Foxit Reader is another commonly used PDF reader that will actually let you save them filled. It's free.

Strange. It worked for all my forms back in the summer and fall. Perhaps they've changed something recently  Sad. I've heard of people using the free version of PDF-XChange Viewer to do the same thing, but I've never personally tried it. It wasn't nearly as popular as Foxit. There used to be others too, like Nitro PDF Reader and CutePDF Form Filler, but I have no knowledge of those either.

There is a version of Acrobat that my husband and I used. We just dled the free trial, and you get it for about a month, so in that month we used it. It worked perfectly, was completely legal, and was free! Can't beat that!

I use MacBook

I saved the file by this steps if you would like to give it a try...

after you typing...click "print" (no matter you have printer or not) then click "preview" or "pdf" then you could save it...

So sorry I don't know if you could do the same thing on PC but some people said yes....

I wish it helps you a little..

You need Adobe Professional to be able to save the forms after completing them. You cannot do that with the free version of Adobe Acrobat.

Yes, use Acrobat Pro (not the reader)...find or even buy an older version and it will work.

I tried FoxIt, but it had issues with some of the forms.

Hope it helps!
