Dear,
I am Souvik from Kolkata. Me and my spouse both wants to go to Canada and settle over there as a Skilled Worker. First, we had start up the documentation by ourselves only. But some people suggests that it will be better if we will take help from any Immigration Agents. After that I have searched on Internet for agents....there are so many names like y-axis/***** etc. But in consumer complaints site, we have found their name also. So we are afraid to take them. In fact,I am searching for a genuine person who recently went to Canada(2011/2012) as a skilled worker and who got help from Agents....Please name that agent.

Avoid consultant if you know enough English to read and understand CIC guides .
They are really easy and to the point.
After reading them if you got any problem then this forum is best place to make them clear.

has anyone heard of or got student visa for canada through Education Consultants Canada (ECCVISA) Raj group? tried to search a lot on the net but couldnt find any references except their own website. just wanted to know their credibility.

Hi,

If possible avoid agents, there is no requirement of the agent, and also CHC will not provide and special consideration if you go through the agents, CHC treats everyone equally, for my opinion go your self with the guide, follow cic.gc.ca web site under immigrate section there is lots of forms and guides for Skilled worker to apply.

Agents only forward your case through with the help of guides only, they only and often courier your doc. etc.  
if you really need help this is the good forum for you.

as per my choice and experience following are the good standing agents for Canada Immigration specially.

Abhinav and Y-Axis.

Dont depend on any consultant. U will get plenty of info here.
And you can put up your questions.. even the silliest and the dumbest here.
Its the best option. So avoid consultant and use this forum.
