Someone told me that a temporary work permit holder can study a course (part time) just not be enrolled full time.
I looked everywhere but I couldnt find a clear answer.

Thanks.

You can study without a study permit in non-formal schools. If you enter a university or college, you will be required with a student visa. If you just study cooking or dancing or acting, then you can do so without getting a permit.

Depends what your work visa states.

I know mine had a clause saying i was unable to study in Canada....period. I believe most work visa's have that clause on them.

Check the visa paperwork first.

The only study exception I have heard of is, you can do online courses (since you don't have to be physically present in Canada to do online courses).
