Can a Temporary resident Incorporate a company ? Urgent

Hi all,

I hold an open work permit valid till May end 2011. I am planning to incorporate a company, i.e. register a company on my name in Canada.
Am I eligible to do that ? or can you please guide where I can gather information regarding that specifically.
