want to apply for Study permit while PR in process

Hi all,

I am a software enginner having 4 years of experience. I got the acceptance letter from Geroge Brown for 1 year graduate certificate. In next 15 days I will apply for student permit. My concern is, i have already applied for PR but my current job doesnt qualify the 38-job list. It hasnt rejected yet though. Will this affect my study permit?.. I qualify all the requirements of study permit. I dont know about PR but!.. can anybody please guide me through this?.

hi,

if your PR application is processing, you can apply for work permit when you meet all requirements for the work permit. but if you PR application is refused, that look like impossible to apply for work permit.

please not that on the form of work permit, you must write down your file number of PR application form the Immigration office
