If he is the attacker and the other party is injured, it is possible.

A cousin of mine was deported for a domestic dispute.  My mother claimed that he was only defending himself from his wife beating him, maybe that is the story he told.  The police may have seen it differently.  I did not really know the guy myself.

Wow really?Huh

I have seen court papers where people have been in prison for years off and on and yet Canada still does not deport them due to Human Rights.

If the only criminal record is a fist fight, then I doubt Canada will deport them. However, if the fist fight was with a child, a women or the other person was so seriously beaten they require long term medical treatment, it may be different. Also, if the person has a history of previous violence, that too may be different.

It difficult to really answer the question.......a lot depends on the 'whats' and 'whys'.

Contrary to popular believe, people are deported from Canada EVERY DAY.  They just don't always make the papers.
